I have a blog.

My title is very creative I know.  I'm excited to make this blog actually, it's taken me the last three hours figuring out how to even upload a template.  Anyways, while Marcus has been playing Nintendo, I decided to start a blog.  I'm sure only my mom and a few token family members will ever read this.  My first post is just about how happy we've been lately.  We were married April 21 and have been married about 3 months now.  We went on our honeymoon to Hawaii in Kona which was amazing.  I think honeymoon's are so great for relaxing, which was just what we needed after the wedding was all over.  We went snorkeling at Captain Cook's Cove.  It was so neat to be underwater next to sea turtles and these beautiful tropical fish.  I just wanted to write about something I was thinking a lot about lately.......... gratitude.  The other day I was really stressed about something, it was probably so silly and obviously not a big deal because I already forgot why, but as I was explaining how stressful it was to Marcus, he right then and there said, "Hayden, list 10 things you're grateful for".   How rude I thought, who would ever demand me to think of things I'm grateful for when I am so stressed out.  But... since he usually is right about things I started naming them off in a bitter tone haha.  As I started listing things off, I noticed my mood change really quickly.  So I wanted to write 3 things I am very grateful for right now...
1. Health- Marcus has had strep throat lately, actually 3 times in 2 months and I've noticed how hard it has been for him and how miserable he has been.  This really helped me to realize that I rarely get sick and how lucky I am for that.
2.  My new calling- I was really scared about it at first, since Relief Society kind of used to scare me, but now I absolutely love it and have made so many friends in the ward, it really has been such a blessing.
3.  Marcus- This man has changed my life in every way, and makes me a better person each day.  I am learning so much from him, and I really respect him and the person he is.  He is so funny and random and always makes me laugh, I am truly blessed to have found him!!
sharing a moment.
